Oswego tea, or Monarda didyma, is a perennial native to Eastern North America. Oswego tea typically grows in moist woods and bottomlands in full sun to part shade. Flowering occurs in late July with a profusion of dense, red flower clusters. Flowers are highly attractive to butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Leaves can also be used in salads or teas.
