Oakleaf Hydrangea - Hydrangea qeurcifolia

-

Hydrangea quercifolia is a deciduos shrub native to moist woodlands of the Southeastern United States. Oakleaf Hydrangea is a showy plant, with large green leaves and giant, football-shaped blooms in shades of white to pink. The large blooms make an excellent cut or dried flower. Oakleaf Hydrangea is best grown in moist soils in shade to part sun. A thick mulch is beneficial to maintain soil moisture during summer dry spells. Plant as a specimen or mass as a hedge. Prefers good drainage but tolerates clay and alkaline soils.
